Meet the Parents
As you'll see below, we love our dogs.
They all have their special personalities and quirks as all Basset Hounds.
So without further ado we present...the parents.
Meet Sir Gauge McGee!
Gauge is a lemon and white basset with beautiful markings.
He has always been a great loveable boy with big slobbery jowls. Even though he doesn't fit, he really would like to be a lap dog. He loves to run with the kids and wrestle them to the ground. When given the chance he would love to follow his nose and let it take him where he wants to go. Gauge is very, very friendly and loves to greet everyone. He is super smart, even tempered, calm and easy going. He is very inquisitive and you can always tell he's thinking when he cocks his head to the side and raises his eyebrows. He was our first basset and has been a joy to our family.
Meet Ms. Jewel "AKA" Diamond in the Ruff!
Diamond is red and white basset that has a heart of gold. She aims to please and wants to be a part of any and all excitement. She is has a playful soul that could rollick for hours with our kids or one of the other bassets. She loves sharing except when it comes to her bones and then those are all hers. She can jump like no other basset we have. Her favorite place is our kids rooms. She loves the chaos and excitement they bring.
Meet Ms. Queen of Afton!
Afton is a tri-colored basset that is as sweet as can be. She is loves attention but loves to go curl up in her crate also. Her favorite thing in the whole wide world is her piece of cheese she gets each day that has her vitamin wrapped up in it. She will sit at the refrigerator and wait for it. She is a really large basset with a beautiful coat. She doesn't know her size and would like to be up in my lap. She has a mellow personality and doesn't care for all the glitz and excitement like the other bassets do. A quiet night sitting at my feet is her idea of a perfect evening.
Meet Ms. Daisy Mae Briley!
Daisy is a tri-color basset with a face that will melt your heart. She is glamorous and almost looks like she is wearing eyeliner and mascara. She is much more active than Gauge and loves a good romp in the yard with our kiddos. She is also very, very nosey and has a strong personality... just a little stubborn. She makes sure that no one is getting attention before she does. She keeps Gauge in line and makes sure she gets the food and bones first. Gauge just takes her in stride. She is very sweet and has been a great addition to our family.
